Fallen Chapter defeated Mimiron 10 on Hard-Mode tonight, 21st June 2009. This means several important things for our guild:
- Completion of the "Glory of the Raider" meta-achievement
- Rusted Proto-Drakes for our Members
- The Celestial Planetarium key obtained, allowing access to Algalon
- Alliance Server First Kill (Blackrock)
Our kill was the result of many hours of hard work by Fallen Chapter members. There might be only 10 players pictured in the screenshot above, but theres many more players who devoted time to learning the fight with us. Regardless of whether they were in for the kill or not: Everyone involved should take a share of the credit for helping Fallen Chapter get this impressive accomplishment. A big thankyou and congratulations to you all!
What an amazing fight. Frustrating? Sometimes. Intense? Definetely. Stressful? Yes. Demanding? Absolutely. But none of those take away from what truly is a fun, unique and enjoyable encounter.
Algalon is no longer on the horizon, he's right in our face. And we're ready for the challenge.

This past week Fallen Chapter completed three new Ulduar 25 hard-modes: Flame Leviathan, XT-002 Deconstructor and The Iron Council.
The only one worth mentioning is The Iron Council, the others were easy.
Iron Council took us just 17 attempts to kill, on our first night of attempts. Not bad, considering the DPS/healing requirements aren't exactly trivial for Phase 3!
Good work everyone! Algalon is still on the horizon...

Fallen Chapter killed Thorim (Hard Mode) tonight, on the first attempt!
The above kill screenshot is the result of many hours of work and dedication from Fallen Chapter's members. We studied the fight: what gear is needed, optimal positioning, correct movement, how to handle important fight mechanics - and kept reviewing, practising and improving on it until the end. It all paid off!
We're looking forward to new Hard Mode challenges in future, and continue to inch closer to Algalon...

Fallen Chapter defeated Hodir 25 (Hard mode) today, 4th April 2009.
The numbers needed for this fight look daunting on paper: Hodir has 33 million health and you have just 180 seconds to kill him. That equates to 180 000 RDPS required, or roughly an average of 9 000 DPS per raid membe (assuming you only take 3-4 healers and 1 tank).
In practise, however, it's really not that hard! We actually have had a much easier time killing Hodir on hard mode taking only 3-4 healers, than doing it any other way!
We got our kill after only a few attempts tonight, with 210 000 rDPS output. Great work on everyones part! This will be an easy, repeatable Hard Mode for us to do in future.

Fallen Chapter defeated Yogg-Saron (25) tonight, Thursday 7th May. In the process, we unlocked the answer to one of Ulduar's greatest secrets...
The secret was: The Old God of Death, Yogg-Saron, isn't so bad after all - despite the ominous title. It didn't take too much effort for us to defeat him at all. Has Fallen Chapter saved Azeroth from the greatest evil the world has seen? Amidst our celebrations, we learned of an even greater threat...
Algalon, the Titan harbinger, is preparing to alert his masters of a terrible truth: That Azeroth needs to be destroyed! Fallen Chapter's next goal is to face Algalon... and stop this horrible revelation from ever reaching the Titans.
